The terms of reference for the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety have been announced, with an interim report expected by 31 October 2019, and the final report by 30 April 2020. The Commissioners appointed are Justice Joseph McGrath, judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and Lynelle Briggs AO, former CEO of Medicare Australia and a former Australian Public Service Commissioner.
