Reducing preventable deaths in aged care

A university research team has released a series of recommendations to help reduce preventable deaths in residential aged care. Monash University’s Recommendations for Prevention of Injury – Related Deaths in Residential Aged Care Services (RACS) report covers topics such as choking, resident to resident aggression, and medication management.
