Providers offer internet access to reduce loneliness

A study has revealed that two in five senior Australians use the internet to overcome feelings of loneliness, prompting aged care providers to increasingly offer the technology. Conducted by nbn co, the study revealed that the majority of older people using the internet did so to connect with their children or grandchildren.
