Protecting against flu in aged care

All Australian Government-subsidised residential aged care providers are required to have a flu vaccination program in place for staff and volunteers. As part of the program, providers must offer on-site vaccinations or make arrangements for staff to access the vaccine offsite, must promote the benefits of flu vaccinations, and keep records of the number of staff that receive the vaccination.
