Addressing malnutrition key to preventing falls

Malnutrition and undernourishment can be a major cause of falls in older people, with reduced energy levels and low body weight leading to frailty. Providing calcium-rich foods, plenty of water and regular, smaller meals can be helpful to reduce the risk of falls in care recipients.
